This is to inform all that as per official communication recieved, the Department of Associations & Community Clubs, Ministry of Social Development, Sultanate of Oman has approved the elections and the AGM of Indian Social Club, Sohar held on Friday, 11th Feb. 2012. The same was conducted in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Social Development, Al Batinah Region.

 

The election process was found in order, the agenda followed for the AGM was as per the Article of Association and the quorum was found complete.

 

The allocation of posts of the newly elected Executive Committee members was held in the presence of the Presiding Officer Mr Abraham George, Managing Director, Godrej & Khimji L.L.C and Mr Ajay Damani, Manager, Muscat Pharmacy, Sohar

 

The new Executive Committee of Indian Social Club, Sohar for the year 2012 & 2013 is as follows

The Executive Committee of Indian Social Club, Sohar is grateful to Mr Abraham George and Mr Ajay Damani for the smooth conduct of the elections.

 

On behalf of the newly elected members of Indian Social Club, Sohar I wish to thank all of you for the trust reposed in us and we hope to be able to live upto it.

 

I, once again call upon members to send suggestions on how to take the club forward from here, events & programs which we should conduct and how to be able to best serve the Indian Community of Sohar and Al Batinah Region.

 

We are open to suggestions and call upon all communities and corporates to approach us and we will help in whatever way we can to organize various cultural, social and sporting events in terms of permission, venue, logistics, publicity etc.
