The "Punjabi Dhamaka" event last weekend was a huge success. Close to a 1000 odd people turned up to watch it. I wish to thank the sponsors Al Nahdha Group, Oman Methanol, Al Jazeera Steel, Oiltanking ODFJELL, Sohar Steel, Gulf Acrylic, Jindal Shadeed, Al Omaniya Financial Services, Sohar Poly Industries, Mr. Rajib Bandopadhya & Mr. Gurpreet Randhawa for their support for the event. Photographs will be ready soon and will be put up on the website.

 

This mail is to issue an appeal to all to come forward to donate blood at the Blood Donation Camp being organized by Indian Social Club, Sohar on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on Friday, 4th Oct. 2013 from 10 am to 4 pm in Sohar Extended Health Centre, Humbar in Sohar. This is the fourth year in a row that we are organizing this drive. All nationalities are welcome for this noble cause. I request companies to encourage their staff to come forward as well as to organize transport for them.

 

A Blood donation poster is attached with this mail to be put up on notice boards or sent as internal emails after permission. I request you to circulate the same to your contacts in and around Sohar so that maximum participation may be there for the blood donation drive. Let's show we care.
