Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Executive Committee of Indian Social Club, Sohar I wish to invite you to the Annual Quiz "Battle of Brains" on Friday, 6th Jan. 2017 in Al Nahdha Garden, Sohar from 5 pm onwards. The Quiz master is Mr. Anantha Kumar Rajamani. Lots of entries have been received and a
few team slots for on the spot registration is available. If you and your team are keen to take part please reach the venue at 5 pm for registration. The teams can consist of 2-3 members with at least one school going child (Compulsory).
The event is supported by Safeer Mall. There are lots of audience prizes. Entry to watch the Quiz event at the venue is free. Please park your cars out side the lane leading to the venue. Arrangements have been made for a snack counter at the venue.
A poster is attached for circulation with this mail. Please forward this mail to your friends and family for wider dissemination of information.
On Wednesday, 25th January the club will be organizing a cultural evening on the eve of India's Republic Day. This will be in the form of a dance cum music show by a troupe led by Padma Shri, Mrs. Soma Ghosh in association with Indian Embassy in the lawns of Sohar Beach Hotel. Entry to the event will be free.
On Friday, 27th January the members only Annual Picnic will be held. Details will follow soon for both the events.
We request Indian Community to renew/become new members of the club. Membership desk will be there at the venue of the Quiz.
