Dear members of the Indian Social Club & the Indian Community of Sohar,
Ramadan Kareem,
The Holy month of Ramadan is around the corner. It's a time for giving to the
less fortunate members of our society. On this occasion the Executive Committee
of Indian Social Club, Sohar ( www.iscsohar.com)
would like to help the underprivileged members of the society where we stay and
are hosted so graciously. We
must show that we care.
On behalf of the Indian Social Club, Sohar I appeal to all sections of society
whether Indian or any other nationality to donate generously by cash or cheque
to the Ramadan Donation drive of ISC, Sohar. The amount of money so
collected will be distributed to the underprivileged section of society in
consultation with the Sohar office of the Ministry of Social Development in the
form of wheat flour, sugar, oil, rice etc.
I make a special and a fervent appeal to the corporates of Sohar, Sohar Port
area and of Sohar Industrial Estate to donate generously for a good cause.
Cheques may please be drawn in favour of Indian Social Club, Sohar.
Ramadan is a month of giving and I request you to please contribute liberally to
the above mentioned cause. Cash donations of any amount or cheques may please be
handed over to any of the following Executive members of the Indian Social Club,
Sohar.
The names of the donors both individual & company will be put up later on our
website without mentioning the amount donated. However if you want your name not
to be disclosed please let us know & your wish will be fully honoured.
Please circulate this to all your contacts and friends in and around Sohar so
that we can have a meaningful and a substantial collection. Please put this
appeal on notice boards after obtaining neccesary permission for wider
information. As we would like to distribute the donated material before Eid it
is requested to please hand over the donations latest by the 10th of August 2012
to the names mentioned above.
